Get the rainwater moving the right way again
Leaking, sagging or overflowing gutters are more than a nuisance in a Sydney downpour. If water is spilling onto fascia, walls or paving, we can repair the damaged sections and check whether the gutter is falling and draining properly.
We repair leaking joints, loose brackets, damaged sections, poor connections and downpipe issues. Sometimes a local repair is all that is needed; badly corroded or poorly falling gutters may be better replaced.
What we check on a gutter repair
- Find the leaking, sagging or overflowing section
- Check gutter fall, brackets and joints
- Inspect outlets and downpipe connections
- Repair suitable local sections and seals
- Advise if replacement is better value than patching
A leak is not always just a bad joint
Water can overflow because the gutter is blocked, undersupported, holding water or not feeding the downpipe properly. We look at how the section is actually draining before deciding on the fix.
Where fascia or roof edges have been affected by ongoing leaks, we can also point out related timber or roofline repairs that may need attention.
What happens when it rains hard?
If water pours over one spot, runs down the wall or sits in the gutter long after the rain has stopped, it is worth having the fall, joints and outlets checked.
Where we work
We repair gutters and downpipes across Greater Sydney, from Western Sydney and the Hills to the North Shore, Northern Beaches and Sutherland Shire.
Gutter Repairs FAQs
Can you fix one leaking gutter joint?
Yes, if the rest of the gutter is in good condition and the joint can be repaired effectively.
When should gutters be replaced rather than repaired?
Widespread corrosion, repeated leaks, poor falls or extensive deformation can make replacement more economical.
Do you repair downpipes too?
Yes. Downpipes and their connections are part of the roof drainage system and can be included in repairs.
